Waiting for Christmas
There is no birthday which would be celebrated as joyful as the birth of Jesus. He was born two thousand years ago and millions of people commemorate it year-by-year. This Saturday (6thDecember, 2014) all kids and parents were preparing for Christmas together in Kaposvár.
The youngest kids greeted the assembly with a great Nativity play. After the play everyone had the chance to make his/her own Christmas present which can be put under the tree. It was good to see how enthusiastic and creative the kids and their parents were. They were working in four different rooms. Some made decorated boxes, others made angels made of clay or cork. The possibility was given to try pebbles painting out, too. There was a special atmosphere in the dining room, the room was full of kids and parents talking about different topics while eating cookies and drinking tea. It was a pleasure to see how the university students active were. They helped their younger mates and were telling stories to the parents about their lives and years spent in the Foundation.
As the close of the day, everyone received a Christmas package with foodstuffs and also three gifts: a year-book, a calendar and a poster of the football team of the Csányi Foundation.
We, the mentors of the Csányi Foundation in Kaposvár would like to wish a merry Christmas to everyone!
