End-of-Semester Dinner night

On December 15th, we once again gathered at the tables of Villa Bagatelle for the festive dinner that concluded the fall semester of 2023. Our honored guest was Dr. Lajos Aáry-Tamás, the Commissioner for Educational Rights, who guided us through the important milestones of his life. We are grateful for the painting offered to S10 Academy, which was a surprise gift at the event! It will be a valuable piece for S10!

We were delighted that Dr. Sándor Csányi, Gábor Marosi, András Török, and Ágnes Wirtz accepted our invitation and enriched our knowledge base with their shared thoughts, from which the participants can draw during their university years. The valuable insights of Dr. Lajos Aáry-Tamás on culture provided an inspiring impetus to the attendees, encouraging more active participation in academic life.

Not long before, an initiative started by university students made its rounds at the Csányi Foundation: we organized a Christmas charity collection for the Világszép Foundation established by Ágnes Wirtz, so that we, now as adults, could also help children in need, separated from their families. Thanks to the support of university students, alumni, and mentors, we were able to ceremoniously donate a multiple of the targeted amount, 350,000 forints, to the Világszép Foundation. The evening had another surprise: Dr. Sándor Csányi, joining this noble gesture, doubled the amount collected by the young people. We are deeply grateful!
