With immense joy and pride, we share the news that the outstanding development teacher of the Csányi Foundation, Gyöngy Terényi, has received a prestigious state award, the Master of Folk Art award, on the occasion of the August 20th national holiday!
At the award ceremony linked to our national holiday, outstanding and dedicated work performed in the service of folk art, public education, and community building was recognized. The prestigious honors were presented to the deserving specialists and creators by Zoltán Tarr, Minister responsible for Social Relations and Culture.
Gyöngy Terényi is not only an excellent specialist and recognized folk applied artist, but also a member of our Foundation’s community and an essential development teacher in our All-Arts Camp today. Through her work, personal example, and education in the respect of traditions, she passes on priceless values to the children that serve as a guide for a lifetime.
Although we know well that for Gyöngyi, the greatest recognition is the children’s smiles, love, and daily progress, the fact that her professional and community activities have now been recognized at the highest state level is a source of immense pride for all of us. This award is a fitting crowning achievement of her value-creating work so far.
On behalf of the entire Csányi Foundation community – students, parents, mentors, and staff – we wholeheartedly congratulate her on this wonderful recognition! We wish that she continues her work in the future with the same impressive enthusiasm, strength, and love with which she enriches all of our lives year after year.
