On the morning of September 12, Pécs Group 3 held its school year-opening parents’ meeting. The meeting provided an excellent opportunity for participants to jointly evaluate the results of the past period, recall summer experiences, and define the most important tasks and goals for the upcoming school year.
One of the most memorable moments of the morning was the screening of short films presenting the events of the summer camps. With the help of cheerful, colorful video compilations, those present were able to relive the shared experiences, which not only brought smiles to faces but also further strengthened the sense of belonging to the community.
During the meeting, the program schedule for the 2026/2027 school year was reviewed. Participants coordinated the expected dates for regular sessions, enrichment programs, and community events. Special attention was given to planning the Family Day, which is an important community-building event in the life of the group.
This school year holds particular significance for Pécs Group 3, as portfolio defenses will take place this year. Accordingly, we thoroughly reviewed the tasks ahead, their scheduling, and the most important stages of preparation. Participants reflected together on how they can support the children as effectively as possible throughout the process.
As part of looking back, we evaluated the pedagogical work of the previous school year and reviewed the support provided by the foundation. In addition, the findings of the satisfaction questionnaires were discussed, which offer useful feedback for developing programs and further strengthening joint work.
One of the important topics of the meeting was reviewing the study agreement. Great emphasis was placed on the importance of parental roles and responsibilities, as supporting children’s development can only be truly effective in a partnership based on cooperation between the foundation, the family, and the child. Whether concerning talent management, academic progress, or skill development, active and continuous cooperation forms the basis for achieving common goals.
As part of the program, the topics for the September and October project sessions were presented, along with the upcoming period’s community and enrichment programs. Based on the outlined plans, everything is in place for the school year to be professionally successful while also rich in experiences and community learning.
The meeting was characterized throughout by openness, constructive dialogue, and collaborative thinking. Participants reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the children and further building the community.
