In this semester as well, we met on several occasions at the Community House with Lilla Becsei, a mental hygiene and career orientation specialist. Through playful, or indeed artistic, creative, and craft-based sessions, we tried to find the most suitable direction for further education for everyone. There are some who already have concrete ideas, but there are still a few of us who mostly know what we do not want to study, and there are key subjects we would gladly focus on in the future. We especially loved the sessions where we could create, and through our creations, got to know each other and ourselves even better.
We had discussions where we gathered what goals and vision of the future we have at that given moment, and what feelings arise in us when we think about the near or distant future. We looked at how this changed and shaped over the course of the semester. We saw how important it is to convey our emotions and thoughts well to others. We also had individual and group meetings with Lilla, during which we looked for solutions to our daily difficulties or received tasks that brought out our own strengths and values. Almost every time, we talked about motivation, which we need very much ahead of our career choices.
