On September 17, the Mohács Community House was once again filled with life, hosting the parent-teacher meeting for Mohács Group 1 and Mohács Group 3. In the case of Mohács Group 3, the children also accompanied their parents to the program.
In the first part of the meeting, we evaluated the implementation of the previous school year’s tasks and the experiences from the summer camps. Based on parental feedback, the children enjoyed themselves in all of the camps, returning home enriched with numerous experiences and new insights. The joint activities served not only to develop knowledge and skills, but also played an important role in community building and strengthening social connections.
In the second part of the meeting, we reviewed the tasks, opportunities, and challenges for the current school year. Special attention was paid to introducing the new chapter of the study agreement, as well as the upcoming programs and expectations.
For members of Mohács Group 1, several sessions will be organized throughout the school year at the Pécs Community House, as the students are continuing their high school studies in Pécs starting this academic year. According to the parents’ reports, the children’s initial experiences are favorable: they feel good in their chosen institutions and are adjusting positively to their new environments.
As part of the meeting, members of Mohács Group 3 registered for the language contests under the guidance of university student junior mentor Gergely Berthold. They also created the new email addresses required for registration, thereby fulfilling the technical prerequisites for participating in the contests.
To conclude the program, we distributed donations offered by PICK, which parents received with great joy and gratitude.
The parent-teacher meeting took place in a pleasant atmosphere with active cooperation. The gathering provided an opportunity to jointly evaluate the achievements of the past period, formulate goals for the new school year, and further strengthen cooperation between the families and the Foundation.
