Getting into festive mood

“The festive preparations have become a tradition in Mohács, so on Saturday our Community House was once again filled with the chatter of children. Members of all ages from the groups enthusiastically threw themselves into the joint effort. While the sweet-spicy scent of gingerbread filled the rooms, and the house resonated with the children’s singing and Christmas songs, diligent work was underway everywhere with the help of our high school and university students. Some crafted advent wreaths for their homes to decorate their holiday tables, while others made door knockers and Christmas tree ornaments. Glass painting was also a must for the youngest group, so they could use their own marked glasses in everyday life, feeling like equal members of the House.” – Annamária Éles, mentor
