At the beginning of the 2026/2027 school year, mentors from the Csányi Foundation’s Jászság Community House, along with parents and family members of the children participating in the program, met for a joint start-of-year parent-teacher meeting. The event was opened by Dr. Miklós Radoszáv, Chief Operating Director, with the goal of providing participants with a comprehensive overview of the upcoming school year’s professional directions, programs, and opportunities, while once again reinforcing the community that forms one of the most important values of the Guidance Program. Every group from the Foundation was represented at the meeting, making the occasion a truly shared gathering.
During the professional briefing, the updated objectives of the Guidance Program were presented. The Foundation continues to place a strong emphasis on experience-based project education, with a heightened focus on developing core competencies—particularly reading comprehension, logical thinking, foreign languages, and digital skills. However, an important change is building closer cooperation among parents, beneficiaries, and mentors, as developing talent is not self-evident; it requires following through the professional program, which can only be successful if our shared interests are realized and beneficiaries take advantage of the opportunities provided by the Foundation. Conversely, those who do not wish to utilize these opportunities will unfortunately drift away sooner or later, and their Foundation membership may cease. The parents agreed with this as well.
Following the joint section, the groups continued the meeting with their own mentors, who briefly presented the most memorable moments of the past school year, as well as their planned projects and goals for the 2026/2027 school year. The 8th-grade Jászberény Group 2 reached an important milestone, as students will decide on their high school education this school year, while the 12th-grade Jászberény Group 4 will continue their studies in higher education and vocational training.
The joint start-of-year parent-teacher meeting reaffirmed once again that the success of the Csányi Foundation’s program stems not only from professional work, but also from cooperation built on trust among children, parents, mentors, and specialists.
