Edit Ságodiné Samu

I graduated from the Teacher Training Faculty of the College of Kecskemét in 1986, and later, in 2009, I passed my professional examination in Child, Youth, and Family Protection at the Hajdúböszörmény Faculty of Pedagógy of the University of Debrecen. I obtained my Master’s degree in Social Leadership Training at Semmelweis University in 2019.

Throughout my career so far, I have gained insight into the world of education, and then worked for nearly two decades in the field of child protection specialized care, serving as the professional leader of a home for children with special needs. My qualification in event management proved to be an advantage in my work—my responsibilities included coordinating several successful art and professional camps, as well as festivals.

The spirit of acceptance, empathy, and selfless help motivates me both in my work and in my daily life. The Guidance Program of the Csányi Foundation provides values for both children and families that I gladly identify with: it is important to me to nurture these values, to ensure a loving and happy childhood, to help those in need, to establish a constructive, friendly community, and to help talents unfold.
