This summer, I obtained my Master’s degree in Computer Science at the Faculty of Informatics of Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE). Since I completed my Bachelor’s degree in the same major in Pécs, it felt natural for me to continue on this path at the Master’s level as well. One of the biggest challenges of the past few years was that I worked full-time at Yettel Hungary throughout the entire program. I started as an intern and, over two years, advanced to a junior and eventually a medior position, so balancing work and studies required significant focus and perseverance.
During my Master’s studies, I also had the opportunity to work with OTP’s Cybersecurity Lab, where I gained valuable professional experience and connections. For my Master’s thesis, we researched the automatic detection of phishing websites using machine learning algorithms, as part of which I also developed my own Proof of Concept application.
For me, obtaining a Master’s degree marks the end of an era, after which I can embark on the next phase with renewed energy. At the same time, it symbolizes the result of hard work and perseverance. In the future, I primarily want to focus on my professional development, and in the near future, moving abroad also awaits me.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the Csányi Foundation, my mentors, and every foundation staff member for their continuous support and trust in me throughout my studies!
