“I want to learn a marketable trade so that I can start working as soon as possible.” — This was the thought I started my high school years with. Alongside my studies, I worked continuously: both in my profession and in many other fields. Every experience contributed to helping me find my path.
Over the years, I realized that true success is not just about a secure livelihood, but also about choosing a vocation that brings joy. I believe that no salary can compensate in the long run for doing something one does not truly love.
That is why I applied for the special education bachelor’s program. The university years brought many challenges, but I was fortunate because I could always count on my family — especially my sister and my fiancé — as well as the support of the Foundation. The stable background they provided greatly contributed to me earning my special education degree with distinction, specializing in psychopedagogy and the pedagogy of learning disabilities.
The new academic year marks the start of a new chapter for me: I am beginning my first job as a special education teacher while continuing my studies in a master’s program. I trust that the next two years will hold just as much growth and experience, and I hope to share news of further milestones here soon.
