On September 15, university students in Szeged gathered for the first time for a dinner evening hosted by the Szeged Community House. Our guest was László Romsics, CEO of Csányi Winery and international wine academician, who previously accepted our invitation to our Budapest event in 2022.
László Romsics shared his personal experiences regarding education, career building, and taking responsibility, and we also learned many interesting facts about his profession. He showed us how true experts taste wine, and we were able to try a few specialties from the Teleki selection ourselves.

He emphasized several times how important perseverance and diligence are in our lives, since a degree in hand alone will not help us advance unless we add the practical knowledge gained from real life. The event continued with an informal conversation, during which the new university students shared their experiences from the first few weeks. The group returned home with plenty of new knowledge, and knowing that they can return to such a warm community every time, similar occasions will surely take place in the future.
