July 19 was the day when this year’s thematic camp for the Pécs 3 and Nagybajom 3 groups began—our camp in Veszprém enriched with logic and drama classes. Our bus departed from Pécs at 10:00, and after a stop in Nagybajom and another in Siófok, we arrived in Veszprém at 14:00. After a quick unpacking and a camp welcome, the sessions began. The campers were divided into two groups, and the children arrived at the classes designed to develop both their intellectual and emotional intelligence. On Sunday, these sessions only took an hour and a half, but on the remaining days, these events will take place between 9:00 and 12:00. In the afternoons, relaxation will replace hard work as we visit the Lake Cave Visitor Center in Tapolca, the Wesselényi Beach in Balatonalmádi, the Benedictine Abbey of Tihany, the local zoo, and of course, the city’s sights. A special feature of the camp is that the children can collect points through various activities. Such activities include keeping their rooms clean, performing well in classes, correctly answering questions related to the programs, and participating as actively as possible. In the evenings, we will close our days with leisure activities, themed escape rooms, and watching the World Cup. We are taking part in a great, educational, and experience-filled camp.
