I had a chance to spend a day in Villány at Csányi-Winery with the guidance of Hágen István.
We met in Pécs and started from here. Our first station was Kisharsány, where we took a look at the machines used at vineyards and I met with the people working there. After that we left to Villány. You can find here the Csányi-Winery where they showed me the process that how grapes become wine. We took a look at the basement where the wines are stored. The basement was built in 1881, and the drums are there since the 1900s. We went to the office where they showed me how this looks like in IT. Luckily there was some problems so I could see the things work during the routine. Besides a great lunch with Nagy Zsoltné and Hágen István we talked a little bit about the activity of the Foundation of which they were impressed. To the final part we went back in front of the computer where István showed me the software used by the company and gave me some suggestions. I found the day very useful and I say thank you to the Foundation.
