Lajos Zeke

Volunteer Providing Outstanding Support for the Implementation of the Guidance Program

Lajos Zeke has been a development pedagogue at the Jászság Community House since 2006. During this time, he has passed on his knowledge in mathematics and IT to numerous sponsored students across all groups of the House. He has achieved outstanding results with his students in the field of Lego robotics, where in recent years, the Jász Stones team has been consistently securing top placements at the First LEGO League competitions, now even on the international stage. During the multi-category competition, in addition to successes achieved in innovation, the team has improved immensely in robot programming; the students prepare by helping one another, and programming has practically become their passion.

In 2024, the Jász-Stones team finished in 5th place at the national finals of the First LEGO League competition in Szigetszentmiklós, and they won 1st place in the innovation project category. Thanks to this, the team was able to travel to Australia for the international finals, where 53 teams and the best of nearly 30 nationalities were represented. The team won 1st place in the innovation category at the international competition as well.

In 2025, they achieved 3rd place at the National Finals, thereby qualifying for the international finals held in Cape Town in May. Lajos Zeke’s work is inherently part of these achieved successes.
