Today, the „XX. memory of the century ” history competition with my group mate Lili Boglárka Burkus and Letícia Domján. In recent weeks, we have dealt a lot with the XX. century history, we also processed the recommended literature, and spent a lot of time expanding our topographical knowledge. In the morning, there was a meeting in the Community Hall, during breakfast we reviewed some of the material we learned, so w eset off tot he Campus in a good mood accompanied by our mentor. Our team was the youngest in the competition, we tackled the tasks as 9th graders, and the oher teams were 11th and 12th graders. During the preparation, we covered many topics, but there were also difficult tasks in the worksheets, about which we had little knowledge.
In the competition, the first three places were awarded, which unfortunately we didn’t manage to enter, but Dr. Balázs Sebők, the organizer of the competition, came to our team and praised us, because even as 9th grade students, we were able to place well in the competition, where 11th and 12th we had to report from the class history curriculum. We would like to thank the mentor Mr. András Gál from Pécs the online classes, as well as our mentor, Mrs. Dorina Szerző, for the preparation.
