Group 2 of the Pécs Community House can look back on a truly eventful weekend. For the students, the programs were simultaneously about learning, development, and shared experiences.
Friday was dedicated to learning: the mentees participated in darts-math and Hungarian development classes, where they could expand their knowledge through playful and developmental tasks. A great atmosphere and active participation characterized the sessions throughout the day.
The youth were not left without programs on Saturday either. After the darts-math and mentoring session, a special surprise awaited them. In the Uránia Cinema, located near the community house, they watched a movie together, which brought great joy to the team. The organizers also crowned the program with a shared lunch: after the movie, everyone enjoyed their lunch together at the nearby döner place.
The surprise program was a huge success. Our mentees were so moved and delighted by the experience – which the parents, of course, already knew about in advance – that they were almost left speechless. As the end of the year approaches, this special weekend was a worthy reward for the entire year of hard work and mutual development.
