Swim camp in P1

Today, on 4th July, the children of P1 jumped into the waters and will have a busy week ahead of them this week. In the mornings, swimming and in the afternoon other exciting programmes await them.

First day: We were very excited to enter the ANK’s swimming hall. So, after a small breakfast we learned many things such as backstroke and breathing techniques form Árpi Bácsi and even had a competition, which the girls won. In the afternoon, we had ice cream and rode the train in the centre. The day was tiring but great!

Day two: It’s hot today too, but we’re going to spent it in cool water. First, the morning exercise. We practised that we learned and Laura and Luca got to be best in backstroke and gliding. Then we played catch. In the afternoon we went to the Zsolnay quarter to make candy. It was a great day.

Day three: It was a cloudy and dull morning, and Árpi bácsi let us skip the morning exercise. We revised and started to learn the front crawl. Later we looked for things under the water in two teams, girls vs. boys. The girls won. In the afternoon we went to the Zsolnay quarter again and painted some cups. We are a bit tired but still very excited.
