Tisza project

The autumn fishing of our garden lake, which took place on the 14th of November this year, is already a tradition in the life of the Community House in Szeged. Due to the shallow water depth of our small lake, we overwinter our fish in the aquariums of the Community House every year. At springs we measure the weight and length of the fish every year, which we were not able to do during this year’s quarantine period. During the winter, the growth and behaviour of these fish will be analysed under proper feeding. We will put our fish out in our lake in the spring when we take measurements on them again. After the fishing, we talked about the winter hibernation of fish and our most important fish species in the framework of the Tisza project, which was already included during our English lessons.
