Reading comprehension classes in Kaposvár

On April 18, 2026—for the second time this spring—Péter Kántor, a teacher at the Táncsics Mihály High School in Kaposvár, visited Group 3 in Kaposvár to help develop the children’s reading comprehension and writing skills. During the February session, they analyzed and interpreted Dénes Krusovszky’s poem “Miután” (Afterward), and then each child created their own interpretation of Krusovszky’s work, which they thoroughly enjoyed. Last weekend, the special education teacher shared another interesting story, using a short text to illustrate Máté’s challenges. The children made their own lists of the difficulties and ease they experience at school, and placed them in an imaginary schoolbag. Then they discussed how these challenges could be addressed. According to the children, they really enjoyed the activities and are already looking forward to the next session in May.
