Speak boldly!

“With some of my classmates, we had the opportunity to take part in the “Speak Boldly!” competition, organized by the Klebelsberg Youth Hostel of Kaposvár. Students from any of the high schools in the city studying English, German, or Italian could participate. The first half of the competition consisted of improvisation tasks. In the second half of the competition, we introduced our pre-prepared presentation about environmental protection. I was extremely afraid of the first half of the contest because – although I know it was the essence of the competition – I don’t like to speak English. We were all very excited about the announcement of results and we were delighted to hear that we won. The prize was a book token and a delicious chocolate cake.” Zsófia Kada, Group 1 of Kaposvár
