The members of the Szentes 1 and 2 groups have also reached a milestone: their portfolio defense took place on Tuesday.
The day began with a project presentation prepared by Maker’s RedBox titled City of the Future. It is a specialty that they were the first 10th graders to work on this, as so far it has only affected 6th graders.
A total of 21 students participated in the defense, all of whom managed to prove themselves. They all presented their Guidance Festival so far and their achieved results. The children strived for authenticity and uniqueness, and several of them are already doing mentor assistant work, as the Szentes 2 group expanded with 13 new members last year.
They also allowed a glimpse into their future visions; some of them would like to complete an additional three modules next to the four existing modules of ICDL. Several of them touched upon how important it is for them to participate in higher education and to bring the most out of themselves in the field of foreign languages as well. In addition, they highlighted the role of the community; there are those who believe that although they were reserved as a young child, by today they have managed to unfold completely.
The members of the evaluation committee on this day were: Dr. Erika Csányi, chairperson of the board of trustees, trustees Ádám Csányi, Gábor Marosi, and Zoltán Szalai, dr. Miklós Radoszáv, operational director, and Piroska Szabóné André, professional officer.
