Angéla Vancsuráné Sárközi

I had the opportunity to join the Csányi Foundation in 2006 as the drama teacher for the Nagybajom group. The following year brought a big change; in June 2007, I became the mentor of the Kaposvár group. I feel that I am a team player who values individuality, is deeply committed to the profession, and has a continuous need for renewal. I love my work and view it as a calling, because mentoring requires constant vigilance, attention, creativity, and deep sensitivity from me. Throughout it all, I have strived for self-education, self-development, and professional advancement. In 2006, I earned a degree in Humanities in Communication, as well as a qualification in drama pedagogy in the same year; in 2009, I became a qualified talent development expert; and in 2015, I obtained a high school teaching degree in Pedagogy – Drama Pedagogy. I believe that with professional humility, knowledge, and the diverse experience gained over the years in this field, I can effectively help the promising talents entrusted to me to fulfill their potential and become happy intellectuals who find their career path.

Summing up my work over the past decade and a half, I can say that out of the fifteen young people in the initial group, thirteen completed the full Guidance Program of the foundation. They all passed their high school graduation exams, obtained state-recognized language certificates in multiple foreign languages, and thanks to their excellent language skills, work as professionals at reputable Hungarian or foreign companies. Some have earned vocational qualifications and are already living happy family lives. There is someone who, thanks to our strong and supportive community, did not give up and found the field in which they could flourish. There is someone who realized their childhood dream and was able to study abroad with the support of the Foundation. Several became highly qualified professionals after completing university bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and all of them have excellent jobs. Some are about to get their degrees, and they are present in the lives of their younger groupmates as helpers. They assist my high school students with useful advice and by sharing their experiences. It brings great joy to my work that I can count on all of them, and we have now grown into a “multi-generational” family.
