The 10th of December was a special day in Jászberény;
not only were the streets and houses decorated charmingly, but also every little heart was. The three groups of Jászberény celebrated the Christmas Family Day in their community house. Mothers were busy making different kinds of tea in the tea house; fathers were sitting and playing board games with the smallest family members, whilst sharing their thoughts about old times. The rest of the children were preparing themselves for the Christmas show. The children’s performances, the Christmas songs sung by candlelight, the flow of spirit, and the fact of being together lured teardrops in many of our eyes. It was heart-warming! The ones who had the pleasure to participate in this event experienced the importance of the community, which enables the children to learn and grow in a caring, loving and safe environment.
