This year marks the end of a defining period for me: in the spring, I successfully defended my thesis, thereby completing the final milestone of my university studies. In July, I received my teaching degree in English and History, officially bringing my university years to a close.
I would like to thank the Foundation for all the support, help, and numerous opportunities I received not only during my university studies, but long before as well. It meant the world to me that I could always count on this community, and I am deeply grateful for everything I have received here over the past few years.
Over the years, the Foundation provided me with much more than just study support. It represented a community and a reliable background that I could always turn to with trust, while also allowing me to gain a wealth of experience that later became decisive in my career choice, my pedagogical practice, and ultimately my work. I owe countless experiences, insights, and connections to this community, which accompanied me through recent years and from which I continue to draw today as an educator.
Looking back on the past years, I am very grateful that so many opportunities, experiences, and support accompanied me on this journey. Thank you to the Foundation, the mentors, and everyone who helped, encouraged, and contributed in some way over the years to help me reach this point.
