On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, we had the opportunity to hear István Antics, principal of Lehel Vezér Grammar School, present how and through what opportunities students can gain admission to the school, such as taking the central admissions exam. He detailed the different types of classes available at the grammar school and gave us a sense of life at Lehel. We can choose from three options: Class B, specializing in biology and history, offers an opportunity for students who are primarily interested in pursuing careers in healthcare or law. In addition, Class C, specializing in mathematics, is the strongest class in the grammar school. Last but not least, Class D, specializing in foreign languages and information technology, is usually recommended for students who know they want to attend university but are still uncertain about what they wish to do in the future. At the beginning of the 12th grade, students have the opportunity to take advanced-level final school-leaving examinations (érettségi) early, and passing a language exam at least at the intermediate level is a basic expectation for graduating seniors. Principal István Antics also mentioned a few interesting facts about the school, such as that Lehel Vezér Grammar School began its 260th academic year this year.
We would like to thank Principal István Antics for visiting us!
