Parents’ Forum

On Friday afternoon (17 November) we held the autumn meeting of our Parents’ Forum at the Community House in Jászberény. First we reported to the participants on what we heard at the Foundation meeting in Mohács. We discussed the Csányi Foundation’s Rules of Living Together and House Rules, and changes to the disciplinary procedure. We tried to find the reasons for drop-outs, how can we, as parents, motivate our children even more, what can we do to make the Community Houses more known? Our Community Centre is open to the city, we have regular exhibitions, we have local TV and we organise blood donations in the Centre. We talked about the upcoming Advent Family Day, and then Gyula Pege from Jászság 2, UNICEF Hungary’s Young Child Rights Ambassador, spoke about the importance of language learning.
