The camp started in Eger. This is the oldest summer camp destination of the Foundtion. We are going to spend here six days exploring the town and its neighbourhood.
On the first day, the children got to know the castle of Eger and its history with the help of our guide. We were separated into groups and with the help of some maps we could explore the place.
On the ‘Dobó square’ there were big performances and plays taking palce, such as folk show and a kind of fare. There we had lots of fun!
During this camp there will be lots of programmes, which will enrich the children’s historical knowledge. We will visit Aggtelek, the Fátyol-waterfall, the cave of Istállóskő, Szilvásvárad, Vizsoly, Szerencs and we also are going to conquer Hungary’s highest peak, called Kékestető.
