The children of Group 2 at the Pécs Community House can look back on an exciting and event-filled weekend.
On Friday, their first language and token-collecting competition took place. The excited children strived to fill out the competition worksheets to the best of their knowledge. Based on the points earned, they held their ground well and gained valuable experience.
On Saturday, learning continued with an IT class: the children began their preparation for the ICDL exam. IT teacher Zsolt Máté is an old acquaintance of the community house, as he previously successfully prepared our junior mentors for this exam. His expertise and support are once again a great help to the children.
Of course, the weekend also left room for playful learning! During the darts math session, alongside mastering the curriculum, play once again took on an important role. The goal of this method is for children to engage with the mathematical knowledge they have already acquired from a new perspective, while developing their logical thinking, counting skills, and concentration in a fun, playful way.
