“My name is Lili Demerácz, I am a member of Group 2 in Pécs, and as part of the Csányi Foundation’s “Ready, Steady, Drive” project, I had the opportunity today to present my talk titled “Safe Transportation.” The presentation was attended by the three current small groups, mostly consisting of younger, elementary school-aged children. Taking this into account, I approached the topic from the perspective of pedestrians and cyclists, so that it would be educational, informative, and accessible even for the younger ones. During the presentation, I tried to maintain their attention with several interactive questions, pictures, and videos to make the topic more engaging. I hope I was able to convey some
important rules and knowledge to the children to help them travel more safely. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the Foundation for giving me the chance to obtain my driver’s license.”
