Children’s rights

The date 20 November marks the day on which the Assembly adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child, in 1959, and the Convention on the Rights of the Child, in 1989. On the basis of the Convention the Union called Európai Gyermekek Szövetsége celebrated children’s right on the Universal Children’s Day, on which the Csányi Foundation also represented itself. Not only fellows from different Children’s Parliaments and Organisations were invited but also specialist (jurists, public prosecutor, paediatricians, lieutenants, social media specialist) who were deeply engaged with the issue. Till midday relevant, accurate, up-to-date and exciting lectures were held, while in the afternoon different sections were offered to deepen into the topics, such as: education, child abuse/child care, family as a unity.
