# Wrapping up the Balaton animation project

Last autumn, Group 1 from Kaposvár began a special part of their Balaton Project, where the children created animated films based on legends and stories from the Lake Balaton region. The team put a tremendous amount of effort into the project: they designed characters, wrote scripts and storyboards, planned 3D backgrounds, and used a laser cutter to build and paint the sets.

Of course, they also filmed the animations themselves and recorded the voiceovers. After completing their puppet animation short film, they even created a LEGO stop-motion version of the same story.

The final touches were made on Tuesday, April 16th, at the Digital Knowledge Centre in Kaposvár.

The finished films will be showcased at the *Guidance Festival*, where visitors will also get a behind-the-scenes look at the animation process in the animation workshop!
