Parents’ Forum Held in Szentes
Parents and young participants gathered at the Community House for the spring meeting of the Parents’ Forum, which is convened twice a year. Although the 10th grade—and with it, the portfolio defense—may still seem far away, preparation must begin in time so that our students can meet the expectations.
Starting from this school year, 9th-grade students can take part in junior mentoring activities. The related application calls have already drawn their attention to this opportunity. The meeting also provided information for parents and students about writing these applications and, if successful, the tasks awaiting them at the camps. This was shared by Boróka Eszter Süle, President of the Children’s Parliament.
From this school year onward, the 50-hour School Community Service has become mandatory for students. We informed the attending parents and youth that it will be possible to complete these hours through the Foundation, provided the educational institution signs a Cooperation Agreement with us.
Both parents and students showed great interest in the topics discussed. We can look back on a useful and pleasant meeting.
