Another Milestone in Our Project
“During our latest creative pedagogy sessions—held over the weekend as part of our City of the Future project—we worked together in groups to explore questions such as: Who will inhabit the city of the future? What will its population density be like? Will the city have any distinctive or special features? In which year might the city be completed?
Afterward, we explored the Micro:bit microcontroller in a playful manner, followed by a discussion—guided by a questionnaire—about where and how we use microcontrollers in real-world environments.
Participants familiarized themselves with the device’s LED display, creating animations and displaying poetry. They also discovered the different sensors of the device, such as buttons, a light sensor, and a temperature sensor.
At the end of the session, they built a light switch by connecting an external LED to the device.”
