Methodical learning class, and rules of driving
On 20th, February me and one of the University student in my group visited the Szentes 2 group.
We started off the morning with a really nice little game, so we could cheer the kids up early in the morning. After, we analyzed and gave advice to a few student’s lifestyle, then we revisited a few learning methods that they already learned during their freshman trip that took place last summer. We discussed the correct steps of learning, and we layed down the rule, that we will always think before saying or doing anything. We talked about old schools and school systems, and we tried to guess how education will be different in 50 years. We then did a self analysis about what we do on a casual day, and what habits we form to spend our free time. We were stunned to experience how quickly technology became the number one thing amongst younger generations. Then we finished our day off with the help of a poem, that told us that even though technology is fun, reading from books is also really useful and good. Since the group’s topic for this year is transportation, my student prepared an interactive program in the same theme, completing their day at the foundation. On this day I got the opportunity to present for the Szentes group, after their methodical learning classes. My main topics were safe driving and driving rules. To my surprise, the kids already knew so much about the foundations, they told me a lot of their own experiences and they made really useful comments at certain points. We were talking about the basic rules of driving, golden rules, and responsible driving. Their favourite part the quiz at the end of the presentation, where they competed in teams against each other. Then we played a quick memory game as well. I felt like they really enjoyed and they learned a lot of useful information.
