Parents’ Academy
There was an event called Parents’ Academy on the 20th of February for group 2 of Kaposvár. We did not exactly know what this program is about and we have to prepare for it before. We arrived to the Communal House with ready homework, curiosity and confidence.
The topic was quite actual because we were talking about the parents’ and the children’s fears. Obviously, there were many different topics so we could argue about them. However, our children are at the same age, we discovered a lot of common things. We tried to help each other with our own ideas, how we could give them calmative answers about how to handle conflicts in school or the stress before exams. On the other hand, we were talking about daily things like fear of spiders, bees and insects.
Szigeti Mónika, a psychologist, gave us the most accurate answer. For instance, the children know the significance of serious things like death so it is natural that they are afraid of it.
It was a super and extremely instructive talking, just not enough! We could keep asking questions till night and telling stories.
We hope we will have more opportunities to take part in events like this. Thank you!

Életút Nap, We are coming!
During our Parents Academy (how interesting, are they learning there now?), we started to prepare for the Életút Nap. We are making two performances, one for the singing competition. Apart from this we were talking about the “Vagyok, aki vagyok” competition. Everyone would like to take part in it. Our mentor told us that the competition was announced by the Parliament of Students.
We are going to have a lot of tasks and how, our groupmate, Jázmin would say, we need to collaborate. We are looking forward to go to the Életút nap.
