Parents Academy and meeting in Pecs
The Parents Academy programme was held on 8th November in the P3 group.
The lecture was about financial culture. The lecturer was Kátai István József from OTP bank. We learned about the basics of financial culture in everyday life. We had a chat about managing money, practical methods, the basics of interest and we did some calculations. The lecture was really enjoyable and we learned much.
Thank you for the opportunity.
The programme was not finished for us parents, as the mentor of the group Andi held a parents meeting. The main topic was organising to visit the 6 year secondary schools in Pecs on open days. Bogdán Dóra from P2 group who is in the 11th grade in Janus Pannonius Gimnázium joined us and shared her experience regarding this education system, which helped us all to make decision on choosing schools. We were informed about the new language testing method and the tenders available for our children. in addition, we talked about the etiquette of using social networking sites as well as the individual commitments made in the contracts. Also the date of the Advent Family Day was chosen, then the mentor shared her experience visiting schools. The busy morning was really useful for everybody.
