Parents’ academy and parents’ meeting in Kaposvár

On Wednesday, June 19, a trainer from the OTP Fáy András Foundation visited the Kaposvár Community House to hold an exciting workshop on financial awareness for the parents and children of the Kaposvár Group 1.

“This was our third time participating in the Fáy Foundation’s workshops, which have always been very exciting. These sessions fly by quickly, and besides having fun, we learn a lot of useful information about our finances. I particularly enjoy these occasions because we can work together with the children, which is a great experience. This time, we had an exciting adventure navigating the maze of finances with the help of a small robot, which was very interesting but also challenging, especially for the older generation.”

“At the parent meeting, we also discussed current topics, I evaluated this school year, and I screened a short film for the parents that we made on the closing day of the Maker’s Red Box project. In the film, the children presented the city of the future, which they had been designing and creating all year. Naturally, we also talked about the camps, as there will be several camps for the children this year: a local health camp, a language and cultural camp in Tokaj, and seven members of the group will participate in the arts and crafts camp in Sarlóspuszta.” Zsuzsa Fenyő, mentor, Kaposvár Group 1
