Internship on the Hills of Villány
I completed my internship at the Csányi Winery in Villány, where I had the opportunity to learn about and participate in various processes of grape processing, winemaking, wine treatment, and bottling. Additionally, I gained insight into storage and logistics activities.
During my practical training, I worked in the laboratory, the winery, the bottling plant, and the warehouse. In the lab, I determined the acid and sugar content of wines and musts through chemical and instrumental analysis, and I also participated in testing the product Pure Lees Longevity. In the winery, alongside the workers, I learned the steps of wine racking, sulfuring, filtering, and preparing it for bottling. In the bottling plant, I contributed to the visual inspection of products and quality assurance processes. My warehouse tasks included sorting bag-in-box bags and labeling sparkling wines.
Based on my experiences at the winery, the internship proved to be beneficial, as I utilized this knowledge when preparing my thesis.
