Dr. Dániel Varga

I am Dr. Dániel Varga, I was born in Kaposvár in 1984.

I graduated as a geographer in 2009 from the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Pécs. Afterwards I did my PhD studies in the field of fish physiology at the University of Kaposvár. Currently, I am studying pedagogy at the Faculty of Environmental Science and Natural Sciences at PTE.

In 2017, I was appointed as the Head Teacher of the Guba Sándor College of Agricultural Sciences and Conservation, so my activities also focused on talent management, where I tried to provide students with the opportunity to acquire higher-level knowledge beyond the compulsory education, either in groups or individually. Throughout my academic career, I have constantly strived to improve my teaching materials and my own pedagogical competences, and to develop good personal relationships with students, which I believe is an essential condition for successful work.

It is this spirit that I wish to continue to carry on at the Csányi Foundation, where I have been working as a mentor since 2024. My aim is to show students how wonderfully complex the world around them is and how much potential it offers. I want to help them to develop their individual talents and to give them as many opportunities as possible for personal development. To strengthen their sense of social and environmental responsibility, so that they can become broad-minded adults.
