At the Palya Bea concert
In the organization of the Youth House of Szeged there was a concert of Bea Palya end her band on the 14th of October, which was a Friday.
I’ve been looking forward to this event because I’ve already heard them on the Youth Days of Szeged. For me this is a really special band because each member of it is playing a lot of different instruments. Bea Palya is a determinate part of Hungarian music, acknowledged lyrics writer, singer and performer. Her songs are free-spoken, painfully honest and funny. Her music is mostly made up from Hungarian folk songs but she was also effected by gipsy, Bulgarian and Indian music. For me it was really inspiring to see Tamás Czirják, the drummer of the band, perform and how he adapts to these different styles of music.
