Őszi érdekképviseleti Fórum ülés Pécsett
On Saturday, November 12, the autumn Parents’ Forum was held at the Pécs Community House. There were two topics on the agenda, both of which will be relevant next spring: one is the selection process, and the other is career orientation. The Pécs 1 group will take their final exams next spring and face the task of applying to higher education, making this topic particularly relevant as similar challenges await the Pécs 2 group a year later. The attendees agreed that in terms of career orientation, the programs, workshops, and career orientation presentations provided by the Foundation, such as the Parents’ Academy series, which are aimed at both parents and children, as well as the presentations by their peers already at university about their chosen fields, and of course the role of the mentor, all contribute to and facilitate the successful career choice of the young people. Regarding the selection process, it is considered important that the activities of the Foundation be known as widely as possible, including informing potential families and making contact with class teachers. Emphasis on long-term collaboration in terms of Foundation-parent-mentor-child. Everyone present contributed to the topics, shared their thoughts with others, and the time passed interactively.
See you next spring!
