End-of-summer party in the Mohács 1 Group
“We closed the camp in Sarlóspuszta with our mentor Erika promising to meet at the Community House before the start of the new school year and have a fun day, ending with a sleepover in the house. On 30 August, that day finally came and we met again. We were surprised to find out that we had a new group member in Attila Werner, who had also joined us. First he introduced himself to us and then we introduced ourselves to him. Attila was very good at remembering who we were, because he ended up telling us our names without any mistakes.
Our day didn’t go according to plan, as we had originally wanted to go to the swimming pool, but the weather intervened, so we walked into town, where Erika told us a lot about the sights of Mohács and the Danube. At the end of our walk we had ice cream and tried out the new playground.
The evening programme was also very enjoyable, as we were visited by Bukfenc, the famous search dog. His owner told us a lot about the ” adventures ” of Bukfenc, who has helped to find several missing people. In the end we hid and of course he found us too.
We ended the day with a fun chat and games. Sleeping at night was a bit difficult because we stayed up more than we slept.
A very nice day to end our summer break this year.”
