Running is not shameful if one is running in the right direction

In May, I successfully advanced to the National Final of the Student Olympics in Győr. I competed in the 100m and 200m sprints. I finished 13th in the 100m, and in the 200m, despite an injury, I managed to achieve a personal best with a time of 26.95 seconds. It was a huge motivation for me to see that if I could achieve this with an injury, I wondered what I might be capable of when fully healthy. Following this, the next challenge was the U18 National Championship held in Székesfehérvár. I managed to physically prepare myself and finished 4th in my heat in the 200m. After a short break, on Sunday, July 14, 2024, we traveled to Kecskemét, where I competed again in both the 100m and 200m. With a good start in the 100m, I finished in 5th place. I didn’t let this discourage me but channeled all my energy and determination into the 200m. This paid off, as I concentrated on my performance and achieved a huge personal best with a time of 26.50 seconds, finishing in second place and improving my previous best by 4.5 seconds. I was very happy because, in the winter, I never thought I would be capable of such a result. I would like to once again thank my coach, the Szegedi Vasutas Sport Club, and the Csányi Foundation for their tremendous support. The goal is still far away, but I will not give up! I believe that every dream can come true if we put our heart and soul into it!
