Baking Hungarian strudel
This Friday (28th March) was a special Friday. We had two visitors in the Community House and they bake strudel for us in a traditional way.
I like to bake and to cook in my free time, that’s why it was great for me to watch them and to get to know the Hungarian culture in this way. They made four different sorts of Strudel and encouraged me to help them. One strudel after another came into the oven and the sweet smell could be noticed soon in the whole house. Of course I tried every sort and they tasted all well, but my favorite sort was the one with apples and poppy seed.
