Visiting London
It was a very exciting day though we very a bit tired.
On June 30th we travelled from Brighton to London by train. The train was very modern and fast, so we arrived on time at Victoria Station from where we went on a sightseeing tour in London. We walked to Buckingham Palace where we also could see the guards. We visited Westminster Abbey which is a very old gothic building. After a short walk we were on the other side of the River Themse. Here we saw a 4D short film about London’s sights. Then we went into the huge cabins of London Eye from where we had a wonderful view. I loved it a lot! We continued our journey and stopped on the Millennium Bridge to see the Parliament and Big Ben. The Trafalgar Square was full of people, so we went into a quiet street nearby where we had our lunch. After lunch we travelled to Tower by tube. It was fantastic walking among those walls; we saw the Crown Jewels, the fashion at that time and different kinds and types of guns. In the evening we went back to Brighton. It was a very exciting day though we very a bit tired. This was one of the most amusing days in England. Petra Kollárovics
