We closed the Superhero project
Kaposvár Group 1 started the Makers Red Box Superhero project last year at the Digital Knowledge Centre in Kaposvár. The idea behind the project was that the children created a world of their own, in which they became the protagonists through their superheroes.
During the programme, the youngsters worked with microbit, the inscape prgramme, 3D design and got to know the 3D printer.
They also created a storybox, a very spectacular piece of artwork that tells a story, using soldering and laser cutting. The storybox was not easy to put together, but everyone managed to do it successfully.
The sessions are always very enjoyable and the children have learned a lot in the few months they have been attending the sessions. At the end of the project, everyone presented their creations and told what they liked best about the project. Some of them particularly liked soldering and wiring, but others preferred to work on their characters.
Thank you to the Digital Knowledge Centre in Kaposvár and the staff there for helping us along the Superheroes’ journey.
