Autumn Break Relaxation – Bowling Night in Szentes
The 1st group prepared a rap performance for this year’s “Color Your World!” foundation competition, which we presented at the Guidance Festival. Our performance won an award, and we got to choose our prize. We decided we wanted to go bowling and have pizza. In the evening, we gathered at the community center and then headed downtown. After changing into our bowling shoes, we started rolling the balls—some with more success than others, but we all had a great time. We had been looking forward to this day because we could finally be together for something other than a scheduled activity.
After lots of games, the pizzas we had ordered were ready at the upstairs restaurant. Dinner wasn’t the end of the night, though, as we stayed overnight at the community center—after all, it’s fall break! There were plenty of things to do. Some of us just chatted, later we watched a movie, and most of the group joined our mentor in a game of Activity. All in all, it was a really good evening; we needed the chance to relax together since school has been tiring for everyone lately.
