Researchers’ Night 2018.
Pécs: Groups Pécs 1 and 3 attended some of the many fantastic venues of the annual family science night such as interactive board games and experiments with microscopes. Everyone had a great time!
Kaposvár: Some members of our Community House visited the University of Kaposvár on Friday afternoon, to participate in the programs of the Researchers’ Night. Our groups received an invitation from their tutor, Sára Gombosné Szabó, hence our trip first led to the library of the university, where we could listen to several foreign tales in English.
“Foreign university students were waiting for us at the library. Most of them came from Africa, but there was a Turkish and a Polish participant as well. Everyone introduced the country they came from, and they shared their most well-known tale or legend with us. After the presentations we had the chance to take a group photo with the foreign students. Then some of us stayed at the library to make wands, while others – including myself – sat down in the buffet where we had a great chat while waiting for the next program. Finally, we closed the day with the performance of a story teller, András Berecz, although some of us stayed at the university even afterwards to look for further programs to attend.” Maria Isabel Camacho, Group 1 of Kaposvár
Szeged:The youngest members of Group 2 of Szeged visited the Szeged Tudástár in Researchers’ Night. With the help of our university students groupmates we participated in biological and physical experiments. Of the prepared animals on the shelves of the Tudástár Peti bácsi told us some interesting facts. Tamara Dollák, Group 2 of Szeged
