A summer day in our Community Centre
On Wednesday morning, some of the group came early to the Community Centre to tidy up the garden before the heat set in. While we were weeding and watering, Uncle Stephen and the big boys started assembling the solar panels for the raised bed. We were less in the yard now because of the heat. In the afternoon we had a self-awareness group with psychologist Ágnes Kovács. We have had several programmes this year that have helped us to get to know ourselves better and to get help with the things that make us sad, that we can’t really find solutions to. We were given several exercises, I think the most interesting was when we analysed our drawing. We learned so many things about ourselves and each other from our drawings that we hadn’t thought of. It’s good that Aunt Ági can also give us so much useful advice. We will continue the sessions in September. In the evening the parents could also meet Auntie Ági, because she held a Parents’ Academy for them.
